diy Raised garden beds
we’ve got a garden!
And its the garden of my dreams.
The goal has been to create zones in our backyard so that we are utilizing the entire space in a smart way. The garden next to the kid’s playhouse makes it so that we are out here as a family, learning and playing together.
The kids and i love it out here, we cant get enough.
at night it feels like a resort with the cafe lights along the fence and the solar deck lights on the raised beds. They illuminate the pathways nicely.
Summer nights are never going to be the same.
we included a lower portion in the bed closest to the kid’s playhouse so that the kids could play in it. This is going to give them a designated spot to dig so they can leave the rest of the garden alone and lawn alone. Its been a hit with them!
We used a paper towel roll and left over paint to get some fun circles on their side of the raised bed. you can see they’ve also been drawing on the wood with sidewalk chalk.
