Modern Pergola

The backyard is becoming the oasis i have been wanting!

The addition of the Summercove modern pergola from Sunjoy was the right move.  it provides some cover, and really sets this zone apart from the rest of the yard.  

The pergola was surprisingly easy and straightforward to put together.  Whew! I’ve seen other designs take hourrrrrs to put together. We got this one up in under 3, and at times with just one person.  So if you’ve been hesitant to take on a pergola kit, may i suggest this one!

Of course now i’m fixated on adding bougainvillea plants to the pillars for that beautiful pop of color.  I’ll keep you posted on that next unexpected phase lol.
