Functional and Space Saving Entryway

After being without an entryway landing zone in our home for 3 years, we were overdue for a foyer refresh.  

My biggest priorities for this space were shoe storage, a mirror, and additional lighting.

I knew I wanted a brass sconce but couldn’t decide which one to order, until I tried The Home Depot’s augmented reality feature on the mobie app.

With this 3D view of all the online products, I was able to narrow down the exact items that I knew for sure would fit in my space AND look great.  Its as easy as selecting the item and viewing it via your phone’s camera, to scale!

Another Home Depot feature that was a star player for this project was the Curbside Pick-up for online deliveries.  We all know I love my Home Depot deliveries, but what I love almost as much is being able to pull up to my local THD and have my order brought right out to me! Especially on the days where the kids and I have a busy day and cant manage making it inside the store.  This option has been a lifesaver!

I knew I would not regret our choices for this makeover thanks to the AR feature and then receiving the items was a breeze!  The sconce I chose is absolutely beautiful and brings the various colors and metal elements together. The arched mirror breaks up all of the corners and right angles.  This new landing zone has already made a huge difference in our everyday here at home, and we have The Home Depot to thank.
